New Delhi: The US welcomes India emerging as a regional and global power. This was stated by the US State Department before the two plus two ministerial meeting in New Delhi. It also said that the United States is also keen to work with India during UNSC's tenure starting January 1, 2021.

2+2 Dialogue:

In a fact sheet by the Ministry of External Affairs, ahead of the third two-plus two ministerial meeting between India and the US in New Delhi, it said, "America welcomes India to emerge as a regional and global power." The US is also keen to work closely with India during the forthcoming term of the UN Security Council. '

India and America Relation:

US Defense Minister Mark Asper and Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo, along with their Indian counterparts, Rajnath Singh and S.K. Two plus two ministerial level meeting with Jaishankar.
