A Colorado police official says a suspect has been detained. He was injured during the shootout, he is hospitalized for treatment.

New Delhi: A gunman fired fiercely in a crowd in a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, USA. In which ten people have died, including a police officer. Police has confirmed this. The Boulder Police has alerted people about this and asked not to come into the area.

A Colorado police official says a suspect has been detained. He was injured during the shootout, he is hospitalized for treatment. Police say that some preliminary information has been found and the cause of the violence has not yet been ascertained.

But a video shown in the local media showed a blond man wearing only a boxer, without a shirt, carrying him out of the store in handcuffs. He was then carried on an stretcher and taken to an ambulance. Blood was coming out of the leg of the detained person and he was walking limp.

In a press conference, the commander of the Boulder Police Force, Kerry Yamakushi, praised his policemen, saying that people have been saved from the loss of very heavy life and property. Eyewitnesses inside the supermarket at the time of the incident said that they had heard gunshots, after which they got out of the way.

Ryan Borowski, who listened to at least eight gunshots, said that because of buying a soda and a packet of chips, I survived. Dozens of armored vehicles, ambulances and FBI agents, including the SWAT team, have reached the security force.

Earlier last week, there was a major shooting incident at an Asian spa in southeastern Georgia state, killing eight people. Colorado has previously been the victim of two of the most horrific shootings in US history. President Joe Biden last month asked Parliament to reform gun laws.
