ED requests Interpol to issue red corner notice against Mallya

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday urged the Interpol to issue a red corner notice against liquor baron Vijay Mallya.

The decision of ED has come a day after United Kingdom (UK) government made it clear that he cannot be deported to India.

The ED is also in a mood to attach his domestic assets and shares worth about Rs 9,000 crore in connection with its money laundering and unpaid loan probe.
