Kavarrati: The Lakshadweep sea region on Wednesday was hit by Earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude on Richter scale. The quake has caused no damage to lives and properties.
According to National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake hit the areas in the wee hours on Wednesday.
- The tremor was estimated 10 kilometres deep.
- No tsunami warning was issued.
