New Delhi: Very frightening information is coming out of Indonesia on Friday. According to this information, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's West Sumatra province on Friday, although no major incident or damage of any kind has been confirmed so far due to this earthquake.

Let us tell you that according to the information received by the earthquake department, this earthquake occurred on Sumatra island of Indonesia at around 8:39 am local time. The epicenter of this earthquake was located about 17 km northeast of Regency. The country's Meteorological, Climate and Geophysical Agency publicly shared detailed information on this subject.

Simultaneously, according to the Department of Seismology, the epicenter of this earthquake was located at a depth of about 10 km from the surface of the earth, being located 17 km northeast, due to which there could be no danger of a tsunami-like disaster.
