Sana’a: Drone strikes on Wednesday killed five suspected Al-Qaeda militants travelling in cars in southern and eastern provinces of Yemen, security sources said.

“Three of the suspects died when their vehicle was struck by a drone rocket in a desert area situated in Ma’rib province,” said a security official.

Another security official said two of the suspected militants were killed in a separate drone attack while their car was moving on a road leading from Ataq to Nisab.

It may be mentioned that the drone strikes were carried out by the United States (US) against the terror outfit in Yemen’s Arabian Peninsula operatives.
