New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) said that worldwide deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic have increased by 21 percent in the past week. Of these, 69,000 deaths occurred in the Americas and Southeast Asia.

At the same time, there has been an increase of 8 percent in covid-19 cases worldwide. On an average, 5,40,000 cases were reported daily every day.

The WHO said that if the cases continue to increase in this way, then in the next two weeks the total number of corona cases in the world could cross 200 million. The WHO has reported that the number of deaths from the corona virus has increased in all regions except Europe.

The highest number of cases have been reported in America, Brazil, Indonesia, Britain and India. It is believed that the spread of the delta variant of the corona virus is believed to be the reason behind such a rapid increase in cases. which spreads very rapidly.
