Despite border talks, China is settling villages in the disputed area of the border with its neighboring country Bhutan. A news in Hong Kong's 'South China Morning Post' reported that at least three villages are being established in the mountainous area separating the two countries. The report quoted ruling Chinese Communist Party officials as saying that the rapid expansion began as a poverty alleviation plan, but it serves a d ual national security role.

According to reports, 18 Chinese nationals are waiting to enter their newly constructed homes within that border area in a remote village in the Himalayas. This area has long been a source of dispute between China and Bhutan. China is pushing its plan to build well-equipped villages on the borders of neighboring India and Bhutan.

Earlier in the year 2017, there was a dispute between China and India regarding Siliguri Corridor. Actually, efforts were being made by China to build a road near this border. In view of this, India had adopted a strict stance on this action of China. After which China was forced to cancel its plan. Statements from some officials of the Communist Party of China have also been given in the news report. In which it is said that China's aim is to eradicate poverty from its country. Therefore, he is starting a plan to establish villages on the Bhutan border.

Apart from this, the report further states that families of 18 people from China are waiting to move to new houses built in the disputed area. It is noteworthy that there has been tension between Bhutan and China regarding this area for a long time. Meanwhile, satellite photos of the disputed area were also released. In which it has been claimed that this village of China is present there. The news report further states that last year, every possible effort was made to build villages along the border in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

In this border village, 38 families from Shigatse in Tibet had shifted here. On the other hand, America has also confirmed the settlement of a Chinese village on the Bhutan border. For this, with the help of Maxar technology, America has clicked photos of areas near the Bhutan border. In which village settlement has been confirmed. At present, Bhutan seems to be normal on this dispute. According to media reports, regarding the Thimphu dispute, Bhutan wants to resolve the issue through talks with China.
