After Britain's King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, leaders of many countries have wished him a speedy recovery. Buckingham Palace, the official residence of Britain's royal family in London, said in a statement on Monday that Charles was found to be suffering from cancer during a recent examination of the prostate gland. They did not reveal what type of cancer 75-year-old Charles has but said his treatment has begun and he is "completely positive".

After the news of Charles's health came, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wished him a "speedy recovery". Sunak said on 'X', "I have no doubt that he will be back at full strength in no time and I know the whole country is praying for his recovery."

Britain's King has begun routine treatment and has been advised to postpone public events.

Former British Prime Ministers Liz Truss, Boris Johnson and Sir Tony Blair also posted similar messages. Johnson said, "Today the whole country will be with the king."

US President Joe Biden also said that he is "concerned" about Charles and that he will talk to him on the phone. He told reporters, "I am worried about him. Just came to know about his illness. I will talk to him."

Former US President Donald Trump said that Charles is "a wonderful person, whom I got to know well during my tenure as President." On his 'Truth Social' forum, Trump wrote, "We are all looking forward to his prompt and thorough... Wish you to be healthy."

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, "Like people across the country and the world, I am concerned about the health of King Charles III." "We wish him all the best and pray for his speedy and complete recovery", he said.
