New York: Trying to act as innocent as a lamb in connection with the Uri terror attack, Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said accusing his country of transgressions had been India’s customary practice.

“India held us responsible for the Uri terror attack just few hours after it took place while the fact is that probe into such incidents requires many days or weeks. Putting blames on Pakistan has been their long-time habit. Moreover, the country could never provide adequate evidences to prove its allegations against us,” said the Premiere while interacting with Pakistani journalists in New York.

It may be mentioned that Sharif’s claim came a day after Abdul Basit – Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India – was summoned to the External Affairs Ministry in New Delhi.
