Big success of Singapore scientists: Corona test result in just 36 minutes

Singapore: Corona cases are increasing rapidly all over the world. All countries are insisting on increasing the number of Tests. Now meanwhile, Singapore scientists have developed new technology. With this technique, the results of the test of covid-19 in the laboratory will come in just 36 minutes.

The current testing system requires highly trained technical staff. It takes several hours for the corona investigation to arrive.

Corona test in 36 min:

This new technique, developed by scientists at Nanyang Technological University (NTC) 'Lee Kang Chien School of Medicine', suggests 'ways to improve the time and cost involved in laboratory testing of Covid-19'.

The scientists reported that the test, which can perform with portable devices, can also deployed in the community as a 'screening tool'. He says that the new technology can bring the report of laboratory investigation of Covid-19 in 36 minutes.

Currently the most sensitive method for the COVID-19 probe is a laboratory technique called 'polymerase chain reaction (PCR)'. In this, a machine repeatedly copies the viral genetic particles to check it so that any symptoms of SARS-COV-2 virus can detected and Simultaneously, RNA testing takes the most time. In which RNA is isolated from other components in the patient sample.

The supply of chemicals required in this jaunt process is less in the world. The new technology developed by NTU LCKmedison connects several stages to each other and can lead to direct examination of the patient sample. This shortens the time of results and eliminates the need for RNA purification chemicals. Detailed information about this new technique has published in the scientific journal 'Jeans'.
