US president Joe Biden Biden launched a scathing attack on the Palestinian terrorist outfit Hamas and Russian President Vladimir Putin in an address from the Oval Office of the White House. He said that both of them want to completely destroy democracies.

In an address to the nation he said, "We cannot let petty and inflammatory politics get in the way of our responsibility as a great nation. We cannot and will not let terrorists like Hamas and dictators like Putin win."

Biden has announced that he will request massive funding from Congress to support Ukraine and Israel. The reasoning behind this was that it would be an investment in America's future as a global leader. "This is a smart investment that will pay dividends to American security for generations," he said.

Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are still waiting for humanitarian aid, as Israel continues to bomb the Hamas-run area. At the same time, humanitarian aid was promised in the agreement made by President Joe Biden and Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

Biden likened the moment as in history as an “inflection point” a battle between democracies and autocracies for the world.

He said “This is one of those moments,” and asked the people for funding in this situation.

“Hamas and Putin represent different threats, but they share this in common: They both want to completely annihilate a neighboring democracy, completely annihilate it,” Biden said.

He said “We can’t let petty partisan, angry politics get in the way of our responsibilities as a great nation. We cannot and will not let terrorists like Hamas and tyrants like Putin win. I refuse to let that happen”.

For the safety of his country and for the world he said that war is completely against national security.

“American leadership is what holds the world together. American alliances are what keep us in America safe. American values are what make us a partner nation you want to work with,” Biden said.

“To put all that at risk – we walk away from Ukraine, we turn our backs on Israel – it’s just not worth it.”

Commenting on Russian President Putin, he said that if their country will not interfere in this situation then the situations could be worse and countries like Russia will get more confidence for doing all these stuffs.

"The risk of conflict and chaos could spread in other parts of the world – in the Indo Pacific, in the Middle East, especially in the Middle East,” he added.

White House requested support for $100 billion from Congress to deliver aid and resources to Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and the US border with Mexico.

According to some media reports, the administration is planning to seek $14 billion for border security.
