Gaza's largest refugee camp was shaken by a series of blasts on Tuesday (Israel Gaza War), in which many people have been killed. The Israeli military claimed to have killed a Hamas commander linked to the October 7 attacks in airstrikes.

Hamas' military wing, the Azzedine al-Qassam Brigades, has not issued any official statement on the Israeli attacks, but has vowed to turn Gaza into a "cemetery" for Israeli forces.

Egypt has strongly condemned Israel's "inhumane targeting of residential blocks". He said he would open the Rafah border to allow injured Palestinians to come for treatment. This is the first time since the war began that Cairo has agreed to open the crossing to the public.

Israel carried out intense air strikes amidst international calls to end the ongoing conflict in Gaza and humanitarian crisis. Just hours before the attack, the Health Ministry had informed about the death of 8,525 people. The dead included 3,542 children and 2,187 women.

Even as the death toll in the Gaza Strip increased, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu refused a ceasefire. He said that this would be like surrendering to Hamas and terrorism and barbarity.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will once again visit Israel on Friday. "Secretary Blinken will travel to Israel on Friday to meet with members of the Israeli government and then stop elsewhere in the region," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said.

The UN said on Tuesday that the Gaza Strip, surrounded by Israeli forces, has become a "cemetery" for thousands of children. The United Nations said that first dozens, then hundreds of children were feared dead, but the number is now in the thousands.

In the West Bank, the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, some 122 Palestinians have been killed since the October 7 attacks. On Tuesday, the Israeli army demolished the house of Hamas leader Saleh al-Aruri.

Israel said its forces entered Arura, a village near Ramallah, and shot people who were throwing stones at them during the demolition.

The European Union strongly condemned the Israeli army's attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank. "Israel has a duty to protect the people of the West Bank from extremist violence, to hold perpetrators accountable and to ensure that the IDF intervenes. This is a legal obligation that must be met," said Josep Borrell, the EU's top diplomat.

Global concerns have increased due to the ongoing crisis between Israel and Hamas. Bolivia announced on Tuesday that it was breaking diplomatic relations with Israel. Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani said the Bolivian government "has decided to cut diplomatic relations with Israel, condemning the ongoing Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip."
