New Delhi: America is again preparing for war against Taliban terror in Afghanistan. Its indications have been given by the Pentagon, the headquarters of the US Department of Defense. According to PTI news agency, Pentagon Secretary John Kirby has said that America has the right to continue drone strikes in Afghanistan. He further said that we have the right to fight against terror and secure our nation.

Warning of Taliban:

This statement has been issued by the Pentagon at a time when the Taliban has issued a warning to the US. Actually, some US drones were seen flying over Afghanistan. After this the Taliban said that the US was violating the Doha Agreement. A warning has also been issued to America regarding this.

Pentagon claims, Pakistan aiding Taliban:

The headquarters of the US Department of Defense has expressed concern about Pakistan. The Pentagon says that the Afghan border with Pakistan is a safe haven for terrorists and the US is concerned about it. Meanwhile, the US has also criticized Pakistan for harboring Taliban fighters. The Pentagon has claimed that Taliban fighters were given safe asylum in Pakistan and were also given medical treatment.

Taliban in Afghanistan:

Human rights body Amnesty International has accused the Taliban of committing various atrocities on ordinary people since taking over the reins of the country. Amnesty and two other organizations have said the Taliban did not delay in destroying human rights. Amnesty has accused the Taliban of killing civilians and surrendering soldiers, and particularly of imposing restrictions on women's freedom.
