74 killed as under construction building in China collapsed

Beijing: At least 74 people have lost their lives when an under construction building collapsed at a power plant construction site in eastern China’s Jiangxi province here on Thursday.

The deadly accident took place at 7:00 am when around 80 workers were involved in construction works, said reports.

Security officials used search dogs in order to locate the survivors.

It could be mentioned here that China has suffered several such deadly accidents in the recent past.
