6 killed in suicide bombing attack in Iraq, 5 attackers gunned down

Irbil (Iraq): At least six people died while six others injured on Monday in a suicide bombing attack in Iraqi town of Ain Al- Tamur. Security men, however, gunned down other five suicide bombers preventing any further damage.

Shia pilgrims were attackers’ prime target. According to the reports, infiltration of six suicide bombers took place in the town which is 60 km southwest of Karbala.

The injured were rushed to the nearby hospitals and the area has been cordoned off by security officials. The search operation is still on.

No terror group has claimed the responsibility of the attack yet.
