At least 195 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on the Jabaliya refugee camp. While 120 are still missing and many believed under the debris.

At least 777 more were injured. Palestinians started searching for victims trapped under the debris. Air strikes by Israeli forces demolished apartment buildings in a refugee camp near Gaza City. During this time, in the footage that surfaced, rescue workers were seen pulling men, women and children out of the debris.

Israel said that in the attack Hamas' command center established in houses and the network of tunnels spread below were destroyed. The Israeli military said several militants were killed, including the commander who oversees Hamas operations in northern Gaza. At least 320 foreign nationals from an initial list of 500, as well as dozens of seriously injured Gazans, entered Egypt on Wednesday under an agreement between Israel, Egypt and Hamas. Gaza border officials said the border crossing would reopen on Thursday to allow more foreigners to leave.

A diplomatic source said about 7,500 foreign passport holders would leave Gaza in about two weeks. The Palestinian Red Crescent said powerful explosions were heard early Thursday around Al-Quds Hospital in densely populated Gaza City. Israeli officials had already warned of an immediate evacuation of the hospital, which UN officials have said is impossible to do without endangering patients.

Israel said its strikes on Tuesday and Wednesday killed two Hamas military leaders in Jabaliya, Gaza's largest refugee camp. Gaza's Hamas-run state media office said Thursday that at least 195 Palestinians were killed in two Israeli attacks on Jabaliya.

Meanwhile the Israeli Embassy in the national capital on Wednesday displayed posters of its citizens who have been abducted and held hostage by Hamas following the October 7 attack.
