Whether the age increases or not, the hair definitely starts appearing white. Hair dye is often used to darken these white hairs. There are different types of hair dyes. Generally people buy hair dye from the market which contains many types of chemicals which damage the hair from roots to ends. Coloring your hair with hair dyes containing these chemicals can make your hair excessively dry. In such a situation, moving towards home made dye can be a good choice. Actually, you can make powder by grinding henna and indigo at home and prepare hair dye by mixing these two powders. This hair dye turns white hair black within an hour. A big advantage of this hair dye is that it is completely natural and hence does not harm the hair. Know how this natural hair dye can be applied on hair.

Homemade Hair Dye For White Hair

Indigo powder is used to dye clothes blue, but if it is mixed with henna and applied on hair, then white hair can get completely black color. To darken white hair, take 200 to 300 grams of mehendi in a vessel according to the length of hair. Add tea leaves or coffee water into it. If you want, you can also add a little lemon juice to it. Now add Indigo Powder to this mixture. You have to take a little more indigo powder than henna. After this add some curd to this mixture.

Apply this prepared hair dye on hair and keep it for 30 to 45 minutes. After this wash the hair. Your white hair will start appearing black. This hair dye can be used once a month.

Whenever you prepare to apply this dye on the head, keep in mind that the hair dye should neither be too dry nor should it fall off from the head. Its consistency should be soft so that it applies properly to the hair.

While applying the dye, spread a cloth or towel on your shoulders and wear gloves and apply this dye on the hair with the help of a brush. You can apply petroleum jelly or coconut oil on the ears and forehead so that the color of the dye does not get on the skin.

Instead of applying dye on the hair all at once, divide the hair into small sections so that it becomes easier to apply the dye and every white hair gets covered with the dye properly. After applying the dye, cover your head with a shower cap so that the dye does not fall here and there.
