World Environment Day & Mission Life Celebration by Cadets of 67 UP Battalion NCC

Lucknow: The NCC cadets under the leadership of Colonel Punit Srivastava, Commanding officer and Adm Officer Colonel Somnath Vashishth along with staff of 67 UP Battalion NCC celebrated the occasion of World Environment Day and Mission Life for Environment on 05 Jun 2023 at Dilkusha Garden in Lucknow Cantonment.

A total of 02 Officers & 04 PIs ( 01JCO and 03 NCOs) alongwith 146 cadets (Senior Division - 79, Senior Wing- 38 & Junior Division - 29) participated in the event.

The event commenced with cleaning the lawns of plastic & other wastes. It was followed by small speeches by 04 cadets on the subject of Environment Protection & Security. Thereafter a Nukkad Natak was organized to spread the message of Environment Protection in common language for all.

NCC Cadets took Mission Life Pledge and reiterated their commitment to work towards the cause of Environment Protection. They also vowed to spread this message to the society.
