Women's Day: CM Yogi inaugurates second phase of 'Mission Shakti'

Lucknow: On Monday, International Women's Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the second phase of Mission Shakti Abhiyan. CM Yogi, who organized the program at Lucknow's Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, lit the lamp and started the program.

He said that when society and government run together, the problem will be solved automatically. Mission Shakti Abhiyan When the safety, respect and self-reliance of women are linked together, the goal of women empowerment will be achieved automatically.

The Safe City Project is underway to provide a fear-free environment to women. The second phase was inaugurated by Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Indian Bank, Padmaja Chandru in the presence of CM Yogi, after Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Agra and Prayagraj have been included in the Safe City Scheme. Now Meerut, Kanpur Nagar, Aligarh, Bareilly, Jhansi, Moradabad and Saharanpur are also being included in the scheme.

Women's Day:

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh, which is taking steps in the direction of women's safety, respect and self-reliance under Mission Shakti, is going to take many more steps for women empowerment. The second phase of Mission Shakti has begun on March 8 on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Eleven outstanding women, who exemplified female independence, were honored at a ceremony held at the Indira Gandhi Foundation in Lucknow. These women, who are doing excellent work in various fields, also shared the story of their struggle.

On this occasion, a women's cybercrime cell was also started in the reporting post and cybercrime police station to solve the problems of women in the districts. Retired Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra of the Supreme Court is the guest of honor at the ceremony.
