UP Polls: Special women helpline desk 1090 for female voters

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government has set up a separate desk of 1090 women helpline for female voters during the assembly elections 2017.

A six-member team has been formulated to take the complaints from women voters during the time of polls.

Female voters can register their complaint from January 15 by calling on the helpline number 1090.

How will the special 1090 desk work?

- Women voters can register their complaints by just making a call at 1090.

- Women helpline desk will send a team of officials to the concern district.

- The team of officials will resolve the complaint and will also give a feedback to 1090 desk.

- The 1090 women helpline desk will share the feedback to the victim.
