I had been with and will remain with Mulayam Singh: Amar Singh
New Delhi: Amid the ongoing tussle inside Samajwadi Party (SP), expelled SP leader Amar Singh on Monday said he had been with the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and will also remain with Netaji in future also.
Amar, who had arrived here after spending vacation in London, addressed media persons, saying, “Till now I have been a hero with Mulayam Singh but if needed I am also set to become a villain also.
“Mulayam resides in my heart. It is not about party which matters, it is about my relation with Mulayam,” he added.
What else Amar Singh said?
- Once Mulayam had said that I am in his heart not in the party.
- So if Mulayam expels me from his heart then it will be saddening for me. The party does not matter to me.
It may be mentioned here that Akhilesh Yadav was elevated as the new national president of the Samajwadi Party while Amar Singh was sacked from the party for anti-party activities.
