Ambulance rams into a truck in Sant Kabir Nagar, all killed

Sant Kabir Nagar: Eight people were killed when an ambulance rammed into the truck standing on the roadside in the Chureb Kotwali area of Sant Kabir nagar on Monday night.

The incident created chaos in the area. Police officials shifted the deceased to the another ambulance and informed their kin.

The ambulance was on its way to Lucknow from Gorakhpur.

• One of the deceased, Ramchandra Jaiswal, was undergoing his treatment in the Gorakhnath hospital of Gorakhpur.
• He was referred to a hospital in Lucknow.
• The driver of the ambulance lost his control over steering due to which the vehicle rammed into the truck.

A similar incident had taken place in Kanpur on February 1, last when a full speed car rammed into the tree at the service road of Bhauti Ruma flyover .

All the five boys aged between 20-25 had been killed while they were being taken to Hallet hospital, by Samajwadi ambulance.
