Blast in the AC gas plant of BHU creates panic

Varanasi: Panic struck at Sunderlal Hospital of Banaras Hindu University on Saturday after a blast in the AC gas plant.

Several people were injured in the blast and were rushed to the BHU trauma centre, chief proctor of BHU professor Sateyedra Singh said.

• There were around 1000 people in the OPD,
• The OPD was evacuated after the blast.
• Senior district official reached the spot.
