E-boats become the reason to smile for Varanasi lady Ankita

Varanasi: Prime Minister's descision of distributing e-boats in Varanasi has created a reason to smile for Varanasi lady, Ankita Khatri.

The ideas of e-boats floating on the water of river Ganga in the temple city of Varanasi, is said to be the brainchild of Ankita Khatri.

• Ankita told that she met the PM during his earlier visit to Varanasi on September 18, and proposed him the idea of using eco boats in the city.
• "Although, the idea was on the seventh number, in the list, which was sent to the PM, related to the betterment of Kashi, but he found the it worth and considered it," she said excitedly.
• Ankita also stated that the idea of e-boat has created awareness among the residents of Varansi and she herself will contribute, whatever she can for the betterment of the city.

Other suggestions she gave to PM Modi:

• She also gave the suggestion of providing bio-toilets in e-boat.
• Ankita wants Kashi to be a polythene free city.
• The lady also suggessted to construct Garbage Disposal System, to maintain the cleanliness of temple city.
• Khatri also asked Modi to prohibit the washing of clothes on Ganga Ghats.
