Varanasi: Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh made a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that all his claims are hollow. He was addressing a meeting of party workers in the city on Thursday.

Right from the beginning of his tenure as Prime Minister he has been emphasizing on cleanliness especially of the river Ganga. But, the Ganga remains as unclean as it was before when he occupied throne.

Several other claims:

  • BJP claims themselves as a Hindu party but Modi remained silent when Saints were beaten by Police here.
  • BJP dominates in Varanasi but Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is sheer failure in the temple town.
  • Fake promises were made in context of increasing employment and bringing back ‘Black Money’.
  • The price of crude oil was reduced but no consumer was benefitted.
  • RSS is against GST.
  • There is lot of corruption in BJP ruled states.
  • BJP sent Kanhaiya Kumar behind bars but side by side joined hands PDP in Kashmir.
  • BJP renamed UPA’s schemes and gathered praises
  • BJP should get 100 out of 100 for delivering lies and just 20 of 100 their development claims.
  • The prices of pulses doubled and now media is also silent.
  • Amitabh Bachchan sees huge achievement in two years of Modi and that is the reason, he favors BJP’s program.
  • Big B also will be made the brand ambassador of Incredible India in place of Aamir Khan.
  • They talk about corruption in Agusta Westland but the decisions regarding this were made under Atal Bihari Vajpayee government.
  • They also allege Robert Vadra of corruption but they do nothing against him.

On foreign policy:

  • They roar over foreign policies but China’s army is occupying Indian land.
  • Modi went to Pakistan without informing anybody.
  • This is for the first time that ISI officers of Pakistan came to India on the name of investigation.
  • If Barack Obama is PM’s well-wisher then why America gave fighter planes to Pakistan.
