UP to develop 'Niryaat Saarthi App' for all export related informations

Lucknow, May 14: In order to strengthen the export facilitation mechanism, on the lines of Udyam Saarthi App, the Yogi Adityanath government will be soon developing the 'Niryaat Sarathi App' which will provide every information related to export of goods at one click.

Export is one of the strong pillars of the economy and is a chief contributor to development. The Niryaat Saarthi app will be a high-tech one-click solution to get all information related to the export of goods. It will be an efficient platform for sellers to conduct business smoothly.

For any small and medium sector enterprises, making their products reach across national boundaries is a dream. The state government has been taking a lot of initiatives to boost the exports of the MSMEs and small businesses. The app will sensitise and create awareness among the exporters of the state.

The government is also planning to simplify all export-related schemes so as to benefit the exporters in the state.

It is worth mentioning here that Uttar Pradesh exports have almost doubled in the last five years from Rs 88,967 crore in 2017-18 to more than Rs. 1.50 lakh crore in 2021-22. The ODOP schemes constitute about 72 percent of the total exports from UP.

As exports play a crucial role in realising Atmanirbhar Bharat, the MSME & Export Promotion Department seeks to increase MSME exports to Rs 2 lakh crore in the next couple of years and 3 lakh crore in five years through an array of initiatives.

The initiatives include setting up six MSME parks across the state, setting up mega leather cluster in Kanpur and increasing the disbursal of credit to MSME sector to Rs five lakh crore in cooperation with banks, which will pave way for creation of 5 crore jobs.
