In several districts of Uttar Pradesh, schools and colleges will remain closed on October 28. This decision has been made due to the scheduled UPSSSC-PET examination on the same date. The PET exam is set to take place in 35 districts of UP on October 28 and 29.Consequently, schools in these districts will observe a holiday on Saturday, October 28, to facilitate the smooth conduct of the examination, as directed by the state government.

Examination in Two Shifts

It is noteworthy that the UPSSSC conducts the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) as a qualifying examination for the recruitment of Group B and C positions. The PET exam will be conducted in two shifts, with the first shift from 10 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 5 PM.

When Will the Admit Card be Released?

The release of the admit card for the exam is expected soon, and candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website, upsssc.gov.in, for the latest updates. Candidates participating in the exam are recommended to check the website frequently for timely updates on the issuance of admit cards.

Essential Documents for the Exam

Candidates are required to bring not only the hall ticket but also a valid photo ID to the examination center. Acceptable documents may include a driver's license, Aadhar card, voter ID, or any other valid photo ID. It is crucial for aspirants to carefully read and follow all the instructions provided on the admit card before heading to the exam center.
