UP Govt orders removal of non govt advisors, chairmen, others

Lucknow: Taking the first major decision after its formation, the Uttar Pradesh government, on Monday, ordered to relieve the non-government advisors, chairmen, deputy chairmen and members of certain departments, public corporations, councils and committees, from their duties.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar has directed the Commissioner of Agriculture, Production Commissioner, Establishment and Industrial Development Commissioner, Social Welfare Commissioner, all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries to ensure immediate action in the said orders.

Nearly 80 people including advisors, chairmen and deputy chairmen, who were placed under various departments, have been relieved from their duties.
