UP Assembly election 2022 phase 6 voting live updates: Voting for the sixth phase of UP Election 2022 started from 7 am today. Voting is being held today on 03 March 2022 in a total of 57 assembly constituencies of 10 districts including Gorakhpur, the constituency of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Voting is being held in Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Basti, Kushinagar, Deoria and Ballia districts today. In the same phase, voting is also taking place in Gorakhpur, the constituency of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is contesting the assembly elections for the first time.
The prominent leaders whose fate will be imprisoned in EVMs today are Lalji Verma, Ram Achal Rajbhar, Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh, Mata Prasad Pandey, Satish Chandra Dwivedi, Swami Prasad Maurya, Ajay Kumar Lallu, Surya Pratap Shahi, Shriram Chauhan, Jaiprakash Nishad, Shalabh Mani Tripathi is the lead.

Voting is going on in Kushinagar district also under the sixth phase today. But, voters refused to exercise their franchise at Pipra Ghat booth number- 320, 321, 322 of Tamkuhiraj assembly. Not a single vote was cast here till 9 am. People here say that the construction of a pucca bridge on Pipra Gola Ghat has not been done yet. They say that MLA Ajay Kumar Lallu had taken an oath with water in his hands that the bridge would be built, but till date the bridge could not be built. Villagers are protesting.
