Dr Kafeel Khan came out of the Mathura jail midnight on Tuesday after the Allahabad High Court order. Dr. Kafeel Khan, who was posted as a pediatrician at BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur and court removed NSA and ordered to release him.

Dr. Kafeel was charged under the NSA for making inflammatory speeches regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC at Congress Aligarh Muslim University. In the same case, he was in Mathura jail for the last seven months.

Thank God they did not encounter me: Dr Kafeel

After being released from jail, Dr. Kafeel Khan targeted the Yogi government of the state. He lashed out at the government and said that thankfully STF did not encounter me while bringing from Mumbai. Dr. Kafeel's issue was about the encounter of Vikas Dubey, accused of Bikeru scandal.

He came out of jail and greeted the media persons and others present there as Radhe-Radhe. Also thanked the judiciary for release and removal of NSA. When he came out of jail, his brother and former Congress MLA Pradeep Mathur was also present there.

Dr. Kafeel got out of the prison and said that the administration still did not want to release him, but he is left out due to the wishes of the people. But there is a possibility that the government may implicate him again in some case. He said that now he would like to help flood victims by going to flood affected areas in Bihar and Assam.

Dr Kafeel gave a controversial speech during a protest against CAA to around 600 students at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on December 12 last year in 2019.
