Satyagrah express collides with freight train, five severely injured

Sitapur: A major accident was averted when two coaches of Satyagrah express collided with freight train at the city station here, about 90 km from state capital, on Saturday.

According to Railway sources, the mishap took place following a technical problem in getting signal.

Both came on the same track, sources added.

Five suffered severe injuries and were rushed to the Lucknow Trauma Centre. Several others also sustained injuries.
