Lucknow: One of the closest aides of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, MLC Udayveer Singh, who was expelled from the party on Saturday, said that he had no regrets about what he said in his letter to Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Calling his expulsion as ‘unfortunate’, Singh said that people keeping foul intentions for Mulayam Singh Yadav are still in the party but a well wisher like him has been shown the exit doors.

What else Udayveer Singh said?

  • I have just put my thoughts before Mulayam Singh Yadav about the conspiracy against the chief minister.
  • I have no regrets about the points I raised in the letter to SP chief.
  • Mulayam Singh is the head of the party.
  • I am confident he will do justice with me and CM.

Singh had penned a letter to the national party president Mulayam Singh couple of days ago alleging that Mulayam's second wife and Akhilesh's step-mother was mainly responsible for the present crisis in the party and the Yadav family.

He was expelled from the party for six years for anti-party activities.

"This amounts to indiscipline and no one how-so-ever big he or she is spared for this kind of behaviour," said party spokesman, Gaurav Bhatia.
