Panic in UP: Leopard creates a stir in residential area of Lucknow; injures seven

Panic has spread among the people due to leopard entering the residential area of Lucknow. The pictures of leopard roaming in the residential area of the railway have been seen in the CCTV.

After numerous reports of leopard sighting over the past 2 days, residents of Lucknow's Gudamba area have locked themselves up and are living in fear.

The animal is believed to have walked into the city from the jungles of Barabanki district. Forest Department officials have failed to trap it so far.

At least seven people have been injured. So far, the leopard has evaded being caught. Videos show the leopard on the streets of Lucknow's densely populated area. Authorities are on the hunt, efforts to catch the animal continue.
