Gorakhpur, October 22: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the central and state governments are actively working towards providing employment to every hand and ensuring job opportunities for all. There is no shortage of jobs and employment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. The government will guarantee employment and jobs for youth who, based on their interests, choose a field, undergo training, and prepare themselves.

Speaking at the Grand Job Fair organized at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology on Sunday, the Chief Minister addressed the distribution of appointment letters to trained candidates and a ceremony for the distribution of loans amounting to 500 crores for self-employment. The event, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, the Labor and Employment Department, and the Public ITI, witnessed the Chief Minister emphasizing that the double-engine government at the center and in the state is tirelessly making jobs available without discrimination.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the transformative initiatives undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for corruption-free governance. Through schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, direct benefit transfers, and the Digital India initiative, the government has connected villages to digital platforms, empowering every individual. The Chief Minister noted that schemes like Make in India, Startup India, Standup India, Mudra Yojana, and Vishwakarma Yojana have opened up numerous possibilities for employment and self-employment for the youth in the country.

For those who are unable to secure employment, Chief Minister Yogi announced the PM-CM Internship Scheme, which will provide training and stipends to unemployed youth. Half of the stipend will be provided by the government, and the other half by the respective industries. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between skill development and employment, ensuring that trained individuals find opportunities in the industry.

Chief Minister Yogi stated that investments in Uttar Pradesh, which were non-existent before, have now reached 38 lakh crores. With proposed investments materializing, 1.10 crore youth will have opportunities for employment and self-employment. He expressed optimism that with the required training aligned with the needs of industries, the youth of Uttar Pradesh will find employment opportunities within their state and district.

Congratulating those who secured jobs at the job fair, the Chief Minister encouraged the disappointed individuals to choose a field, undergo training, and stay hopeful, assuring them that the government will not let a shortage of jobs prevail. He extended his wishes for the auspicious occasions of Sharadiya Navratri, Mahashtami, Mahanavami, and Vijayadashami, praying for the fulfillment of everyone's wishes from Goddess Bhagwati and Lord Shri Ram.
