Jilted lover kills girlfriend with pistol butt in Meerut

Meerut: A jilted lover killed his girlfriend by hitting her with the butt of his pistol in Sadar Bazaar area of the district.

According to the police, accused Anupam Goyal first opened fire on his girlfriend after a heated verbal dual was ensued between them while having dinner at a restaurant. Later he hit her with the butt of the pistol . The woman was rushed to district hospital and she succumbed to her injuries on Friday last.
