Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday honoured 71 prominent personalities including journalists with the prestigious Yash Bharti award. Among the recipients were senior journalist Yogesh Mishra, actor Naseeruddin Shah, Cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

The award is given annually by the Culture Department of the state to encourage journalists and non-journalists in different fields including art and culture.
