Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police, Javeed Ahmad, has ruled out possibility of any terror gang involved in the Varanasi bombs case.

“Since these bombs had no detonators, we believe that no organized gang has been involved in this case,” Ahmad told newztrack.com.

However, by way of precaution, a high alert has been sounded in all the places which could be targeted by these outfits.

BDS deployed at soft targets:

The bomb disposal squads have been deployed at all the old places which had been the targets of the terrorists in the past.

UHM to visit Varanasi:

Significance in being attached to the detection of these bombs as the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is slated to visit this parliamentary constituency which is represented by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening.

More than 30 people had died in 2007:

Over 30 people had lost their lives in a serial bomb blast that had occurred in 2007 last.
