Lucknow: The Government of Uttar Pradesh approved a total amount of Rs 50 lakh to provide social security to those who are working in field of medical and who are working as corona warriors. If they face death due to infection of Covid-19.

Giving this information, Additional Chief Secretary of the state, Revenue Renuka Kumar said that a formal order has also been issued by the Revenue Department in this regard.

Renuka Kumar said that at present, in the entire state is fighting against the global pandemic Covid-19, a large number of personnel of various departments are engaged in day and night duty to prevent and treat this epidemic.

She said that there is always a possibility of infection of covid-19 among the personnel working for prevention, treatment and rescue of this epidemic. Additional Chief Secretary Revenue said that the District Magistrate of the concerned district will be authorized for this approval.

COVID19 CASES:

So far 9152 corona infected have been found in the country. The death toll from this virus has reached 308. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 700 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours.
