At the function, 245 students were awarded degrees, which interestingly were printed in three different languages - Hindi, English and Urdu.

  • Ikar Hussain - BA Arabic (Subjects – Urdu, Arabic and Farsi) Gold Medal
  • Nida Khan – BSc First Highest Vice Chancellor Medal
  • Mohammad Haroon – BA Arabic Second Highest VC Medal
  • Safina Zehra – MA Urdu Gold Medal

Among the 245 degree holders, 173 (71 per cent) were boys, while 72 (29 per cent) were girls. Among the gold medallists, there were five girls and five boys.

Number of girl students has seen a significant growth in Uttar Pradesh, which clearly indicates that the women across the state are getting empowered.

Four news universities have been added list of government-run universities in the state to take the number to 29.

The students were being given photocopies of their degrees instead to original ones.
