SP MLC creates ruckus in UP capital; disrupts traffic

Lucknow: A chaotic drama erupted at the Hazratganj crossing in Lucknow on Thursday, after Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Lilavati Kushwaha was caught violating Model Code of Conduct.

Lilavati was stopped at the square by traffic police for keeping a beacon on top of her vehicle.

Blaming the traffic police of misbehaving, the SP MLC staged protest at the Hazratganj chauraha, which led to huge traffic jam on the adjoining roads.

Keeping a beacon on the vehicle in the poll bound area is considered an offence when Model Code of Conduct is imposed.
