Shivpal announces ‘conditional’ support to SP post polls

Lucknow: Not ruling out completely over floating his own party after the UP elections, the Samajwadi Party senior leader Shivpal Yadav on Wednesday said he will remain loyal to SP, if not insulted again.

"I am campaigning for Samajwadi Party and if not humiliated again, I will remain intact with SP after March 11 (UP polls results declaration day)" said Shivpal Singh Yadav to a leading news agency.

Shivpal said he is not interested to go where Congress candidates are contesting elections."I will only go for campaigning if Netaji will ask me to do so," he added.

Accusing BJP of carrying out illegal activities, Shivpal said he has always won from Jaswantnagar seat and every conspiracy of the saffron party against him will fail.

"It was on the directions of few people that police charged baton on people in Jaswantnagar during polling,” said Shivpal.
