Lucknow district administration cancels Owaisi's meeting

Lucknow: The district administration of Lucknow, on Wednesday, cancelled the public meeting of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi in the state capital.

The decision was taken in view to maintain the environment of communal harmony and peace in Uttar Pradesh.

Confirming this, the Lucknow District Magistrate (DM) Raj Shekhar said that the district had not allowed the meeting of Owaisi.
