Lucknow: The Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) on Thursday organised a special ride for elderly people from an old age care centre, days after a similar arrangement was made for disabled children.

The 30 inmates of Aastha Hospice travelled from Charbagh station to Transport Nagar. Wheelchair support was provided for them.

The group arrived at Charbagh station in the evening where it was received by Kumar Keshav, Managing Director of the LMRC. Kumar Keshav said that the event was a "very special one for the LMRC".
