UP's women helpline 1090 should be implemented Pan-India: NCW

Lucknow: Heaping praise on the 1090 Women Power Line, the dream project of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, the National Commission of Women (NCW) has desired to implement it across the country.

Rekha Sharma, a member of the women commission told newztrack.com that entire nation is talking about the work style of 1090 initiative and it is the ripe time for the project to be implemented across India in order to stop crime against the fair sex. ''We will call the concerned ones for a presentation before making it Pan-India,'' she added.

She was in the state capital on Wednesday to probe in the matter of pregnant girls at women protection home at Moti Nagar.
