Lucknow: Sunday is that one day which is considered to be fun day for most of us; we plan out to go for a movie with our friends but when the entire youth was busy enjoying themselves, Ankiya Welfare Foundation in association with Motivagers Club decided to plan a day out lunch with underprivileged children of the city on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami.

There are some underprivileged children in the society who can only dream of achieving few things in their life but to make sure that these children enjoy their day to the fullest Motivagers Club and Ankiya Welfare Foundation took the initiative to plan a picnic with the children.

The day started with taking the children to cafe in Gomtinagar to play few indoor games with them followed by lunch. While interacting with the children they stated their area of interest in different educational and creative fields.

The children also actively participated in games like ‘Tongue twisters’, Chinese whisper in which Sudha Kanaujiya and Suraj Kumar emerged as the ultimate winners. While Ruby Yadav and Sudha Kanaujiya filled the air with enthusiasm with their lovely voice and sang ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye’ made everyone clap with utmost zeal.

Children were appreciated for their efforts with the token of gift that included educational goodies for them like bag, tiffin box, Pencil Box, Coffee Mug to motivate them to study further and keep following their talent. Founder of the Motivagers Club Gaurav Chhabra was elated with the effort of his team.

They were then taken to Lohia Park for some outdoor games and health sessions which was conducted by Astha Singh, Ishita Chauhan and Shikhar Yaduvanshi.

Speaking, at the occasion, Mr. Rahul Singh, Director Ankiya Welfare Foundation said, “We feel that every child has a right to recreation, a healthy environment & to be well nurtured our foundation Intends to work towards it. We are pleased to organize a day full of fun for these kids who are from low socio-economic status. Due to lack of resources, these kids are deprived of their basic needs.

The idea was to bring a smile on the face of these kids & give them the feel of some normalcy in the life of these kids, which is full of struggle.

Mr. Singh further added, “We intend to keep working towards the betterment of the underprivileged kids & keep increasing the scale of our activities in the future as each activity and interactions with them helps us to understand the challenges in their daily life.”
