Lucknow SSP Manzil Saini's fake Facebook account handler arrested

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh police on Friday arrested the boy who was operating the fake Facebook account of Lucknow SSP Manzil Saini.

The police was on a lookout for the Class 12 boy, identified as Aryan, for the past 11 days. He was nabbed from the Allahabad district of UP.

SSP took the matter in cognizance and ordered PRO Arun Kumar to lodge a complaint in Hazratganj Kotwali on February 20.

Why Aryan created the fake Facebook account?

According to the sources, Aryan was highly impressed with Manzil Saini's way of executing her duties and was wilful to become an IPS officer like her.

As he found it hard to complete his education first, he created a fake Facebook account in Lucknow SSP's name and started to address people's grievances.

He made the account look authentic by posting several pictures of her visits to various places in Etwah and Lucknow.
