Lucknow police books BSP top brass for violating section 144

The FIR has been registered in case number 459/16 under section 143 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code for violating section 144 of the CrPC on late Saturday night. Senior BSP leaders Naseemuddin Siddiqqui, Mewalal, Ramachal Rajbhar and over 100 protestors have been named in the FIR.

The case has been registered at Hazaratganj police station of Lucknow.

It may be mentioned that BSP protestors in large number had on July 21 last protested against the derogatory remarks by expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashanker Singh.
