Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya observed the Bharatiya Janata Party's 37th foundation day by taking up and participating in 'Swach Bharat Abhiyan'.

The deputy CM himself took up a broom to clean BJP Office in Lucknow, on party's foundation day on Thursday.

It could be mentioned that the saffron party is celebrating 37 years of its inception. The celebration will continue till April 14 across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with party president Amit Shah and other senior leaders visited BJP headquarters in New Delhi to pay tribute to party ideologue Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

The party was formed in 1980.
