EC appoints 11 observers in Lucknow to monitor UP Elections
Lucknow: Election Commission has appointed 11 observers to monitor the conduct of the Uttar Pradesh elections.
A total of 11 names have been finalized who will be deputed in the state capital Lucknow.
EC has categorically divided them as Election Code of Conduct Observers, Police Observers, Financial Observer and Awareness Observer.
Senior IAS officers from states including Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi have been deputed to observe the illicit practices during the elections.
